- Sea Lion Caves: This is America’s biggest sea cave and the place that hundreds of sea lions call home.
- Wildlife Safari in Winston – a recreation of the African savanna, you can get up close to rhinoceroses and giraffes.
- John Dellenback Dunes Trail: Ride the sand dunes, some of which tower as high as 500 feet.
- Hiking trails: You can have outstanding hiking experiences at the following trails: Cape Lookout, Timberline, Eagle Creek, McKenzie River Trail and Deschutes River Trail.
- Fort Clatsop National Memorial: This is a commemoration of the historic expedition of Lewis and Clark. The site features the salt-making operations of the expedition along with a replica of the original Fort Clatsop used by the famed duo.
- Nez Perce National Historical Park: These contain prairies, plateaus and valleys that the Nez Perce Indians call home. It is a showcase of the diversity of the West. This park spans four states, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Washington.
- Oregon Caves: Go down to the marble cave and explore and discover its secrets.
- John Day Fossil Beds: Witness the world-renowned records of preserved plant and animal fossils. The specimens mark a significant portion of the Cenozoic Era.
- Jacksonville: This is the site of over 80 buildings that are listed in the National Register of Historic Places, some of which are the oldest buildings in the state. Jacksonville is a gold-mining town in the 19th century.
